Quotes provided to prospects will be honored for 30 days. A new quote will then be provided upon request.
Charges & Fees
All new web design projects will require a deposit fee of 50% for $500.00 or less upon start of project. The remaining charges will be due when the project is entering the last phase of completion (coding, programming etc.) and/or before files (.jpg, .psd, .gif, .html, .php etc.) are handed over.
All new web design projects that exceed $500.00 will be split up into three payments with 1/3 due upon start of project.
Payments
Midwest E-Commerce online payments are processed by 2checkout which accepts credit cards and paypal. We also accept checks that are to be made out to “Midwest E-Commerce” and projects do not begin until the check has cleared.
Refunds
Midwest E-Commerce requires a deposit before we begin work on a project. If we fail to complete your project within 60 days of the start date and you have turned in all content, images and information requested by us, you will receive a full refund within 10 business days of your written request. Otherwise, please follow the refund terms below:
Refund Amounts will be calculated in the following ways:
- A cancellation fee of 25% (twenty-five percent) of the total deposit paid will be retained for projects that have been booked, but cancelled prior to the start date.
- A cancellation fee of 50% (fifty percent) of the total deposit paid will be retained for projects that have been started and are in the design or coding/programming process.
- The total deposit fee will be retained on projects where the design portion of the development has been completed, and the client has accepted the design, but whereas the development process of the project has not begun.
- Projects that are in the development process at the time the request for termination is received will be billed at the hourly rate of $25.00 per hour. Should the amount of time put into your project be greater than the deposit you have paid to Invision Blue, you will be billed the difference. Upon payment of these fees, the work completed up to the time of termination will be released to the client.
2checkout is not responsible for following this refund policy however upon start of any project with Midwest E-Commerce you agree and are responsible for following the above refund terms.
Hours of Operation
Our business hours are 9 am – 7 pm Monday – Saturday, we are closed on Sundays. If you require maintenance after the posted hours you will be charged double our base rate of $25.00 an hour with $50.00 an hour.
Non-Communication
If we are unable to communicate with a client on a project for a duration of at least sixty days (60) by phone or email during the design and development process, the project will be canceled without prior notice and no refund will be issued.
Web Site Design Credit
Upon the completion of the project Midwest E-Commerce reserves the right to integrate a graphic no bigger than 100X100 pixels of our brand into the footer of the website linking to our website or a text link displayed as “Designed By Midwest E-Commerce or Midwest Ecom” which will link to our website. By hiring us to design your website you are agreeing NOT to remove this without our consent. We do offer a one time fee of $100.00 to have this credit removed.
Should you have a new web design done by someone other than us you may remove the credit from you website.
If this credit is removed without our consent then Midwest E-Commerce reserves the right to ask for our work to be removed from the internet by contacting you and/or your host.
Copyright/Ownership
Midwest E-Commerce reserves the right to display websites or graphics that have been designed by us on MidwestEcom.Com or as marketing material to aid as examples of our work.
Acceptance
Please note that by submitting your down payment (deposit) for our services you are agreeing to all of our terms of service as written here. Midwest E-Commerce reserves the right to change or update these terms at any time without prior notice.
